This Austin pedal car has been within the family for long and used during the period between 1950 and 1958 after which it has been stored in dry conditions, The car is well maintained, is in good working condition with only few signs of usage marks, rust free and has obtained a characteristic patina during it’s years in storage. Handbrake, steerIng, pedal rods and pedals have been recently revised and work as new. The electrical installation has been upgraded and a maintenance free batterie installed. Bumpers and grill are newly chromed giving the care a nice appearance. Headlights and horn are functioning well. The original Dunlop cord balloon are in good condition and ready for usage. The car with Chassis number 2475 JR is produced late 1949 or early 1950. It is rare to find an Austin J 40 in this condition and therefore very interesting in many ways. Transportation should be organised and is at costs of the buyer. Despite the photo selection and description it is recommend to see the car in real and is available for viewing in in Norg.
