In 1915 he presented his first steam-curved chair. In 1934, Fritz Hansen began his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen. The result of this were some of the famous icons of Danish design, including 'the Ant' (1952), the 7 series (1955), the Grand Prix (1957), the ‘Swan‘ (1958) and the 'Egg' (1958). In 1982, Fritz Hansen bought the rights to an important part of Poul Kjaerhom's furniture collection. The drop chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 as part of her masterpiece, the legendary Raddison Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhague. The key to the success of Jacobsen's objects lies within its elegant and essential design, which confer an attractive external look. Colours of the six chairs: 1. White 2. Red 3. Black 4.
