This abstract brass ashtray is a famous design by Beck & Jung, design collective name for the Danish design team Bo Ljungberg and Holder Bäckström. They designed it in commission for Diverse Ting AB in Malmö, Sweden. These ashtrays could be found mainly in large hospitality establishments and hotel lobbies. Polished brass on the outside, unprocessed, rough brass on the inside. In good condition with normal signs of wear considering the age and use.
