The BeoGram 1600 is the first model turntable equipped with a DC motor, this was lighter, quieter and easy to adjust in speed. This player has been revised by Beovintage, professional B&O technician specialised in B&O turntables. Without this revision no B & O turntable of approx. 40 years old would be 100% functioning. The motor has been lubricated very lightly, the belt has been replaced for a perfectly fitting new one, this belt meets the B&O specs. The machine has been cleared of dust and grease, and works perfectly. See pictures of the revision. The internal switches and controls have been cleaned. Easy 1-button operation, choose the rpm and the player does the rest. There is a TURN option on the middle of the top of the button, the player then turns and the record on it can be cleaned with a brush. There is a wheel above that, with which you can adjust the speed. The MMC 20S cartridge is provided with a new (elliptical!) needle, solid diamond and sounds perfect. This MMC20S is in fact an MMC20E. The suspension rubbers in the element have also been replaced. A new cartridge alone is costly, just Google it! Offers below 225 euro are a waste of time! A device offered by me works according to the specifications, has been cleaned and the dust cover has been polished.
