Framed, hand-coloured etching with a cat with blue bow and a bumblebee. By Meta Plückebaum (1876-1945), German artist and illustrator, known for her etchings of cats and other animals such as dogs. The etching has a small tear at the top, which was restored on the back, years ago; hence the dark spot at the top of the etching. The etching is not quite as stretched tightly in the frame, but that can be easily remedied by a connoisseur/expert. Please take a good look at the photos for your own impression. Dimensions etching: 26 × 21 cm. Dimensions including frame: 39 x 33 cm. Will be packaged perfectly and shipped by registered (insured) mail.
