Superb and very beautiful gramophone DECCA " TRENCH" model 1 from 1926 in excellent condition. Fully working. Sound box Crescendo (the correct one for this model and year) , giving excellent tone and sound. Suitcase in very nice condition. Motor has been revised and refurbished and can work another lot of years without problem. Speed adjuster in working order. Turnable felt in perfect condition. Original carry handler (with authentic leather). It's was made by "The Dulcephone Company", the bowl reflex system being called the "Dulciflex". This gramophone became popular with soldiers during World War 1 hence earning it the name "Trench". The deep lid contains a black metal bowl called a "Dulciflex" which reflects sound from the with remarkable volume. This Gramophone has its dispatch note containing the manufacturing date, it is a number in the format ddmyy, the number is 26426 which indicates 26 April 1926, Serial number 205746.Includes a NEVER OPENED tin of 200 first quality needles.
