Victor Bussoletti was born in a small medieval village, in Otricoli, in Umbria, on 4 April 1939.
In 1950 he began painting by himself. His aesthetic production has always been characterized by a personal search, outside of schematism or currents. He enrolled at the Art Academy of Rome. Become part of Italian and French artistic circles and academies where he could meet famous painters and sculptors. In Paris, in particular he studies Picasso, who he considers his ideal teacher.
1970 - He participated for the first time at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. From that moment Bussoletti created works of art for that occasion.
1974 - After his experiences in Europe, he moved first to San Diego then San Francisco and New York where he began his pictorial and creative training. He experienced the Pop Art and is one of the promoters of graffiti art. He deepens his artistic language in Peru and Bolivia where he is enchanted by the Mayan and Aztec art.
1979 - He became interested in the birth of the Trans-avangard. In New York he moves with the new generations, recovering classic shapes with fantasies, elaborating paintings that the artist himself defines the new Metaphics.
1990 - The Artist's Terni studio becomes a cultural centre. Here conferences are held in which a well-known writer and art writer also participates.
January 2008 Bussoletti returns to Terni, where he lives and works in his studio in Via Mauri, 21.
He died in Terni in 2016
