We are happy to offer you this fantastic NPEA dagger for students. It is unlikely to be available on the market in this condition. This exact dagger is depicted and described as a reference piece in the book "NPEA Daggers of the Third Reich" by Ron Weinland. The Napola dagger is in an extremely good condition. The blade is mirror-like with a clear and clean inscription "Mehr sein als scheinen" (Be more than seem). Manufacturer Type 1 Karl Burgsmüller, Berlin. The handle has no chips or cracks. The upper cross-guard is engraved with "NPEA Naumburg Weihn.35" Naumburg (Saale) was in Reichsgau in Saxony and was opened on 15.3.1934. The lower cross-guard is marked with N57. The head screw is untouched. The sheath has a bluish (like in the early model) shimmer. The leather frog is also very well preserved. All in all, one of the most beautiful – if not the most beautiful – NPEA daggers that has been available on the market in a long time!
