In good condition, a unique Alessi item for the true Alessi collector. A beautiful side table made of bamboo with a round glass top, a design by the Brazilian Campana brothers, Fernando and Humberto Campana. They have designed multiple items for Alessi Italy. In 2004, a first stainless steel version of this side table was released, but also a fruit bowl and several other items. And on the occasion of more than five years of collaboration between the Campana brothers and Alessi, the Campana brothers also presented a 'Blow Up Bamboo' collection in 2010. Please view the third photo with the marks, they are at the bottom. The bamboo rods appear fragile, but below the bamboo string joints are minuscule nails, so entirely handmade. The usual signs of wear, such as scratches, stains, minuscule split bamboo and some damaged bamboo, but not obtrusive when considering the whole.
