Pendule - Auguste Moreau (1834-1917) - Bronze, Laiton, Marbre - Première moitié du XXe siècle
Large pendulum clock in red marble, France or Languedoc.
The item is completely perfect and works very well.
The marble has no broken parts and the colour is wonderful with its veining that varies from white to pearl grey.
The movement has a very fine dial, it has been serviced and the movement works perfectly and is signed by a award-winning watchmaker.
The clock strikes on the hour and half hour, and has an 8-day charge.
The statue on top is very large and very elegant. It is signed Auguste Moreau, so we can easily date it between 1900 and 1910.
On the side of the statue there is a clearly visible signature of the artist Auguste Moreau, and on the front there is a label that gives the title of the work 'Semeuse', the seeder.
The clock measures 82 cm in height. It is very tall and also very heavy.
The clock comes with winding key, and all the parts required for it to work.
It will probably need adjusting once the movement has been reassembled.
For the shipping, the statue and the movement will be removed, and it will all be sent in two large boxes to avoid damage during shipment.
Shipping with tracking number.
