In 1912 they moved to Barcelona and opened a perfume store in the street "Nou de la Rambla". Back then, the perfume came in bulk and it was the saleswoman who perfumed the customer who paid for a few grams. At the end of the war, Ramon Pons joined the business, which gave a big turn in the marketing of perfumes and thanks to which the brand Myrna Pons acquired a reputation in the world of perfumery. This innovative perfumer introduced a new way of presenting the perfumes: he dressed them with elegant jars decorated with jewels and golds, with eye-catching plugs in luxurious cases with mirror and satin. Its success was resounding as a simple perfume in bulk became an elegant and distinguished gift, highly appreciated by visitors who visited the city. The star perfume was No. 1, known for its crown cap. They offered more than forty different fragrances, always presented in the most original ways, which were subsequently imitated by other major brands of perfumery.
